A new banding line with 6 stations, for hot rolled / pickled / coated steel coils. The line can handle coils up to 1850mm. Capacity: up to 45/hour.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The annual capacity of the line is targeted on 2 shifts/day (16 hours x 4,5 days = 72 hours/week): 70.000 Tonne.

Strip width 22mm to 500mm.

LINE COMPOSITION
SLIT COIL TILTER, movable on rails, with variable output pick-up device. Max. capacity: 5 Tonne.
The tilter has the function to pick up a single slit coil from the turnstile and overturn it by 90°.
After this operation the slit coil is forwarded to the downstream roller conveyor. The tilting movement is by means of a hydraulic cylinder.
The pick-up device is axially adjustable, also by means of a hydraulic cylinder.
Hydraulic power pack included, mounted on board.
BUFFER ROLLER CONVEYOR
Capacity: 5 Tonne.
Length: ca 2m.
Rolls driven by an electric geared motor.
STRAPPING UNIT for radial strapping of the slit coils.
Capacity: 5 Tonne.
Length: ca 2.3m.
Fixed table with tapered rolls, allowing strapping in any positions.
WEIGHING STATION, also acting as buffer conveyor.
Capacity: 5 Tonne.
Length: ca. 2m.
Slit coil centering by means of hydraulic cylinders.
Frame predisposed for the insertion of weighing cells.
CENTERING STATION, with radial/axial centering device.
Capacity: 5 Tonne.
Length: 2.6m.
Slit coil centering by means of hydraulic cylinders.
PICK-UP MAGNETS installed on the stacking bridge.

Up/down movement of magnets by means of a hydraulic cylinder.
