A new slitting line of our original concept, coming with both auto. CNC programmable slitting heads for coils up to 1500mm wide and a “classic” 650mm wide slitter (with 3-arm tooling exchanger); … complete with three coil loading cars, 4-arm turnstile at exit etc. … Line speed max. 100m / min.
A special design, uncommon new slitting line that includes both our unique CNC programmable slitting heads for coils up to 1500mm wide and a “classic” 650mm wide slitter (with 3-arm tooling exchanger). The line is complete with three coil loading cars, coil off-loading car and 4-arm turnstile at exit etc.
The line, built in 2013 is installed at a major mill’s service center in Northern Europe.
Material thickness from .5mm to 2mm, max. hardness 680 MPa
Maximum line speed 100 m/min
The line includes:
3 fast-shifting coil cars
15 Ton decoiler with edge control and snubber arm, for coils with 480mm to 630mm ID
coil threading station with telescopic table, pre-straightening rolls, auxiliary crop shear and coil leading edge chop evacuation system
double slitting system:
1) 16 CNC programmable slitting heads, with automatic positioning and production “recipe” storage possibility
2) A “conventional”, 650mm wide for making very narrow strips; completed by a 3-arm tooling exchangerfor the quick exchange of cutting tools
scrap winders, with a 500 kg capacity each winder
mobile strip tension pad, automatically taking strips to recoiler
&
roll type strip tension unit, with edge control photo-cell to recoil wide strips or full width coils
crop shear and a special design “pinch” unit for automatically evacuating the coil “tail” without no manual intervention
15 Ton recoiler with coil ejection plate, for coils with 610mm ID. Complete with safety “containing arm” with strip hold-down.
