The slitter tooling management is also possible by standard anthropomorphic robot based systems.
The advantages of a limited floor space requirement, (slightly) shortened cycle-times, the automatic identification of all pieces of tooling and 'check-up' & cleaning of these etc., the elimination of health-risks in the tooling set-up process... can, to a certain extent be achieved with Custom-solutions as above too.

Our slitter tooling package softwares (also customized) feature: the tooling management programs, with automatic calculation of the most convenient tooling configuration; "multi" set-ups at once;
tolerance - setting, edge quality improvement program ...and everything needed to speed the tooling set-up process and optimize its accuracy.
The auto. check-up of the tooling condition and knife sharpening & cleaning are available options.
