This used slitting line for non-ferrous metals was revamped by us in 2008.
It has been in use for processing aluminium, brass, bronze, copper... coils.
The max. coil weight for the line is 3 Tonnes, both at entry and at exit.
The thicknesses of material that can be processed with the line are .3/.4mm to max. 2.0mm.
The maximum line speed is 40m / min.
A "hybrid" pad/rolls strip tension unit and a scap baler are included in the line.
We specialize in slitting lines for aluminium, brass, copper, titanium...
Particular problems can arise during slitting of these materials: like edge burr and wave, knife marks, a.s.o.
(Slitting them on "conventional" lines normally results in production/quality issues.)
Our particular experience in this field helps solving. In some cases, we can also get to upgrade existing "non-specific" slitting lines to efficiently run non-ferrous metals.
