New Slitting Line
1500mm x 3mm | M2-Class
A 75m / min reasonably-priced "Standardized" Carbon Steel Slitting Line for material with yield strength 250-360 N/mm2, tensile strength 440 N/mm2 max., thickness .5mm to 3.0mm.
It includes: 15 t decoiler, recoiler & coil cars; eccentric crop shear; single-head slitter with 180mm dia. shaft; "classic" felt pad strip tension box; 5m loop pit table; scrap choppers; 15 pairs of circular slitting knives.
No quick tool change, no exit turnstile.
All AC motors.
The minimum strip width is 40 mm.
The loop pit table is for supporting the material being taken to the strip tension box and then further to the recoiler mandrel.
As soon as the line is ready to start slitting, the table opens and the material is left hanging free on pit (allowing 'flexible' control of loop).
The slit coils are unloaded from the recoiler mandrel onto the off-loading car, from where they have to be removed using a fork lift or crane.
EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION
DECOILER 15 t
The decoiler frame is a welded construction, made of steel plate and profile; the mandrel is with two roll bearings.
Transmission of power from an inverter (closed loop) controlled geared motor, 15 kW, through a roll chain to the mandrel.
Rotation in automatic mode, directed by ultrasonic sensor.
The maximum rotation speed of mandrel corresponds to the line max. speed, 75m / min.
Mandrel expansion by means of a hydraulic cylinder.
The decoiler is complete with a hydraulically-operated driven snubber roll.
Is also complete with its own hydraulic power unit, 7.5 kW.

COIL CAR 15 t
The coil car is also of welded construction, in massive steel plate.
Motion of car by hydraulic motor, roll chain and chain wheels.
The lifting is hydraulic; the hydraulic pressure is taken from the power unit of decoiler.

SLITTER HEAD
The machine frame is made of welded and machine-worked profile steel and steel plate.
It is equipped with 2 feeding rolls made of hardened tool steel (approx. 60 HRC).
The slitter head shafts are 180mm in diameter; our delivey includes, for this line model also 15 pairs of slitting knives.
The cutting capacity is as follows:

The slitter is also equipped with hydraulically operated loading table; the upper feeding roll is adjustable, so that the coil can easily be fed from decoiler into the machine.

The shear frame is a welded construction of steel plate and profile steel.
The shear blades are made of ground and hardened tool steel.

The choppers frame is a welded construction of steel plate and profile steel.

The table frame is a welded construction of profile steel and steel plate.

The frame is a welded construction made of profile steel and steel plate.
The box is equipped with hydraulically-operated felt pad, with pneumatic tension control.
It is also equipped with hardened separator discs, to keep the strips apart from each other during the recoiling process.
The hydraulic pressure is taken from the hydraulic power unit of recoiler.

HYDRAULIC RECOILER 15 TON
The recoiler frame is a welded construction, made of steel plate and profile; the mandrel is with two roll bearings.
Transmission of power from an inverter (closed loop) controlled geared motor, 55 kW, through a roll chain to the mandrel.
The maximum rotation speed of the mandrel corresponds to the line max. speed, 75m / min.
Clamping of coil leading edge in the mandrel, hydraulic.
The recoiler is equipped with a hydraulically-operated separators holding arm, with hardened separator discs, and a hydraulically-operated push plate to assist the unloading of slit coils onto the off-loading car.
It is also complete with its own hydraulic power, unit 7.5 kW.
