PRESENTING HERE: OUR "COMBI" ROLLFORMING LINES WITH QUICK ROLL TOOLING EXCHANGE SYSTEM, FOR PRODUCING BOTH RAINWATER GUTTERS AND SEAMED DOWNPIPES (EUROPEAN TYPES).
ALSO AVAILABLE IN ROBOTIC VERSION FOR TOTALLY UNMANNED OPERATION.
Rollforming lines with rafted rollformer, for making both gutters and seamed downpipes are a solution that we offer.

Automatic manufacturing systems of different concept, that we also supply for making Euro-gutters are based on our coil- or hand- fed curling machines + bending rolls and, resp. long folders from the market: > Curling Machines for Gutters.

A typical configuration is as follows, for a "combi" gutter+downpipe line by us.

12 OPERATION EQUIPMENT

The roll forming speed is adjustable, 0 - 30m / min by means of a frequency converter; the actual production speed depends on the profile length

1 HYDRAULIC DECOILER - 3 Tonne
Allsteel frame with two roll bearings for the mandrel
Transmission of power: from a 2 kW geared motor, through a roll chain to the mandrel
Rotation of mandrel: in automatic mode, directed by ultrasonic sensor (so that, the decoiler feeds material frequency converter controlled according to rollforming speed)
[The maximum rotation speed of mandrel corresponds to line speed: 30m / min]
Mandrel expansion by means of hydraulic cylinder
The decoiler is equipped with its own hydraulic power unit -- 1.5 kW

2 BASE-FRAME OF THE ROLLFORMING MACHINE
Allsteel, 3 modules of length: 3m each module
Equipped with infeed table and strip lubrication unit, and taper pins for an accurate positioning of Cassettes ( > 3, 4 ) on the base frame
The infeed table is provided with movable side guides, adjustable from operator side; and a mechanical display for width-setting

3 CASSETTES (RAFTS) WITH ROLL TOOLING FOR GUTTER - ex.: 125mm
The delivery includes 3 allsteel cassettes (with length: 3m each cassette)
The forming passes:17 pairs of shafts in total. The bottom shafts are fixed, the top shafts adjustable by means of adjusting screws; bottom shafts driven and top shafts idle
The roll tooling is of S355J0 (DIN St 52-3 U) steel and is heat-treated in the areas subject to wear; fastened to shafts by wedges, spacers and locking nuts
A pneumatic shear is provided for cutting to length the gutter section. The shear blades are of hardened tool steel
Transmission of power: from inverter controlled geared motors 3 * 1.5 kW to the forming passes, through double-lined roll chain and chain wheels
Cassette changeover time: approx. 30 mins., depending which equipment type is used to handle the cassettes

5 PIPE END REDUCTION PRESS
Allsteel frame, hydraulically operated; the press tool is made of hardened tool steel
It is placed next to the roll forming machine: the pipe end reduction is done immediately after cutting to length. The feeding of downpipe to the press is done manually and the workcycle is activated by means of a foot pedal. (The operation can be automated -- if the Robot option is chosen)
The machine is equipped with its own hydraulic power unit -- 7.5 kW

The line can be integrated by a 6-axis Robot, to unload the gutters & downpipes from roll table and feed the downpipes to the End Reduction Press

9 (PLASTIC-PACKING LINE -- option)
With the Plastic-Packing Line two (2) Downpipes or five (5) Gutters can be packed into a plastic foil bag
The Downpipes / Gutters are placed automatically by the Robot onto the first conveyor, from where they are taken through the plastic packing unit and further onto the second conveyor
The second conveyor will feed the package through the heating chamber onto the third conveyor for unloading Unloading is automatic, by the Robot
Shrinking of the plastic foil is controlled by adjusting the temperature inside the heating chamber and adjusting the conveyor speed.

12 OPERATION EQUIPMENT
Control unit, with "Siemens" operation equipment for both manual and automatic use line; and: main switch that can be locked, overheat control, fuses, emergency stop
The line functions are directed by Siemens PLC and touch screen terminal. Once the wanted product length and batch quantity are entered, the operation is automatic until the batch has been completed
