To work "poly-centrical" parts these machines require
simple templates, laser- or plasma- cut.
[Obviously round parts can also be processed.]
An edge-trimming operation is performed first, and
then the parts get beaded. The cycle time is ca. 10 to
15 minutes, including both operations (with max. 6mm
thick mild steel, 5mm stainless steel, 7-8mm aluminium).
In most cases double-head machines ^ are built; but
single-head type also available, for beading only.
No holes are required: the clamping of workpieces is
by vacuum cradles.
