FLOREANI & PARTNERS
Generally, SCARA robots provide more flexibility than Cartesian ones.
While rigid, SCARAs move with more flexibility in a horizontal plane.
And depending on application, they can also perform with more speed.
They have a small footprint and can be “100%”-safeguarded from hazardous environments.
THE RANGE
The SCARA Robots we build can handle parts with weight up to 100 Kg, within a max. 2100mm radius and max. 1800mm vertical stroke.
In particular they are excellent at picking-and-placing parts within limited spaces, with a high positioning-repeatability.
The handling of discs, bars and flanges is their most 'typical' use.
The max. speed in linear motion, interpolated on plane is 2700mm / s.
Using: Siemens motors and Danaher drives, Sipro programming language.
