This leveller has been revamped to a “like new” condition, with:
- chacking of the gearbox and, any repairs found to be necessary;
- disassembling of the work and back-up rolls, that will be cleaned by surface polishing;
- checking of the bushings/bearings and, replacement of any of these that may be found to have got damaged;
- checking of the back-up rolls lifting systems;
- complete cleaning of the machine;
- painting green, RAL 6011 + yellow, RAL 1003.
The following have been supplied:
- new control switchboard, with PLC etc.
- positioning sensors on upper bridge and each back-up roll bench
- new 30 kW, AC electric motor for operating speed: 8 m/min
- new on-board wiring, connected to a box placed on operator side, for easy connection
- cables between the machine and the a/m switchboard
